MoU

Gujarat in western India is one of the favored destinations for any industry in the country due to tremendous support from the government in developing the industry.

Marvelore Mining & Allied Industries Private Limited (A Subsidiary Company of Valbaux) has Signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Commissioner of Geology & Mining (CGM)Government of Gujarat at the 4th Gujarat Global Investors’ Summit - Mega Exhibition 2009, which was held in Ahmedabad from January 11-17, 2009.

According to the MOU, Marvelore has invested a total of Rs. 175 crore (US$ 27 million) in Bauxite Based Industries at its proposed site in Kuranga, Dwarka-Porbandar Highway, Gujarat for making it the most modern production site of Bauxite Calcination for the company in India. The investment has created about 800-1000 new jobs for the people who live around. The MoU was a part of the approval process for the new site, which was originally announced at the beginning of 2008 and intended to complete the project by 2011. The new project site has installed a Calcination Plant, which is currently supplying the Calcined Bauxite to the industries like Cement Plants, Refractories, and Aluminium Industries. Added to that, Marvelore is even coming up with the production of ‘High-Strength Proppant’, a product that is highly used during the oil exploration process.

The company had earlier signed a MoU with North-East Institute of Science and Technology (NEIST), Jorhat, India to obtain Technical Support in its new venture of Proppant Production. The Bauxite based Proppant Production industry is a dream of Valbaux and it will fulfill the industrial demand of rapidly growing Indian and International Market which will make Valbaux one of the leaders to have such operations of Proppant Production in India.
